Richard is a nationally recognised affordable housing lawyer with more than 20 years' experience advising registered providers and other housing sector clients on a wide range of matters including residential development, stock rationalisation, disposals, intra-group transfers and social housing finance.
He has advised social housing clients since 2003 and is particularly experienced in supporting registered providers on site acquisitions, disposals and strategic portfolio projects. He also has specialist expertise in affordable housing securitisation including the charging arrangements required to support loan facilities, bond issues, private placements and other capital markets products.
Working with clients across the affordable housing and wider Living sectors, Richard helps organisations navigate complex development, funding and asset management matters, combining technical expertise with a deep understanding of the opportunities and challenges facing the sector.
