Michaela is a solicitor in the real estate developers and investors team. She acts for real estate investors on the acquisition and disposal of assets including shopping centres, industrial sites and office blocks, as well as related asset management work including leases, licences, assignments, underlettings, alterations, surrenders, wayleaves and rent reviews. Michaela has been appraised for her “exceptional transactional management skills”, her “outstanding service ethic” and for having established herself as “a safe pair of hands” in the team.

Michaela also has over two years' previous experience in the firm's property litigation team, where she worked as an Associate Paralegal before commencing her training. Michaela acted for a range of commercial landlord and tenant clients advising on matters including 1954 Act lease renewals, lease termination and break pre-conditions, dilapidations, rent and service charge disputes, breach of covenants and the Electronic Communications Code 'lift and shift' provisions.

Michaela has delivered external training and written legal updates and publications. Michaela is also a member of the South Hampshire Junior Lawyers division.
