Mac primarily supports North Carolina sheriffs’ offices and county governments from our Winston-Salem office.

Prior to joining the firm, Mac served as Deputy Chief of Staff and as a Manager in Deloitte & Touche LLP’s government consulting practice. He brings significant experience leading internal audits, supporting federal investigations, and designing policies and procedures to prevent fraud, waste, and abuse. 

Mac is also a Captain in the United States Army Reserve, currently assigned to the 134th Legal Operations Detachment at Fort Bragg. As a Judge Advocate, he is a certified Special Victims’ Counsel and separately provides legal guidance to soldiers on estate law, criminal law, and general military administrative matters.

In addition, Mac served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Phil Berger Jr. of the North Carolina Court of Appeals and of the Supreme Court of North Carolina.
