As a Technical Advisor, Crystal focuses her practice on patent prosecution in the high-tech and oil and gas sectors and uses her technical expertise to guide and support her clients’ IP goals.
Prior to working in IP, Crystal worked as a geophysicist, specializing in seismic imaging for the oil & gas industry. Her experience includes the acquisition and processing of 3-D seismic data used in seismic exploration and reservoir monitoring, as well as the acquisition and processing of microseismic data used in hydraulic fracture monitoring. As a processing geophysicist, Crystal was responsible for the development and implementation of processing algorithms, data management, quality control, and client management.
