Catherine is a legal director in the Corporate department.
Catherine is experienced in advising public and private companies on a broad range of corporate transactions, including private company acquisitions and disposals, public company fundraisings and private equity investments and exits.
She has advised clients on secondary fundraisings on AIM and the application of the Takeover Code, and has also undertaken a broad range of group reorganisations.
Catherine is also a Practice Development Lawyer for the team, with responsibility for drafting and updating the team's precedent bank, and providing training and technical updates (both internally and externally).

- Advising Atom Bank plc, a UK challenger bank, in respect of various fundraisings, including its £149million fundraising in 2018.
- Acting for END., a leading online designer clothing retailer,and its founders, Christiaan Ashworth and John Parker, on The Carlyle Group's acquisition of a majority stake.
- Advising Lloyds Development Capital on its investment in Yorkshire property sales and lettings agency, Linley & Simpson, the subsequent merger of Lomond Capital and Linley & Simpson, and on its second round investment into Aspire Technology.
- Advising the shareholders of Lomond Property on a sale and partnership investment with global asset manager, ICG.
- Advising the shareholdersof UniHomes, the UK's leading student accommodation platform, on the sale of their shares and the strategic investment from Macquarie Group.
- Advising Summit Timber Group on the merger of Hawthorn Timber and Cheshire Mouldings.
- Acting for NorthEdge Capital on its investments in soft drinks manufacturer, Clearly Drinks and engineering tooling supplier, Cutwel.
- Advising Venator Materials plc on the UK aspects of its $454million IPO on the New York Stock Exchange.
- Advising a leading global accounting software provider on a £1billion multi-jurisdictional hedging reorganisation.
