Alex de Gramont, Michael Sullivan Help Plan and Will Speak at The Atlanta International Arbitration Society Annual Conference

The Atlanta International Arbitration Society (AtlAS) is holding its 15^th Annual Conference on Oct. 1-2. Womble Bond Dickinson Partner and Head of International Disputes Alex de Gramont is serving as Co-Chair for this year’s Annual Conference. Womble Bond Dickinson Partner Michael Sullivan currently serves as AtlAS President-Elect and is on the Conference Planning Committee.

In addition, de Gramont will moderate a panel discussion on “The Settlement Question: What Role Should the Arbitrator Play, and What Can We Learn from U.S. Courts?” Panelists will consider whether international arbitration should embrace a greater role for arbitrators in promoting resolution, and what safeguards are needed to preserve impartiality.

Sullivan will facilitate a follow-on session titled, “Settlement in International Arbitration.”
