NEW YORK (March 9, 2025) – Womble Bond Dickinson announced today that Gina M. Seong has joined the firm’s Corporate & Securities Practice Group in New York. She advises private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies, as well as public and private companies, on complex corporate transactions including mergers and acquisitions, strategic investments and divestitures. She also counsels clients on corporate governance and general business matters.

Seong has more than a decade of experience at nationally and internationally recognized law firms, where she advised business leaders on complex transactional and strategic matters. Earlier in her career, she served as a vice president at a global foreign exchange brokerage, overseeing institutional client relationships and cross-border teams.

“Gina brings exceptional judgment and depth of experience in sophisticated M&A and private equity matters,” said Corporate & Securities Practice Group Co-Leader Matt Sweger. “She strengthens our senior transactional bench in New York and enhances our ability to meet growing demand for complex deal work in an increasingly competitive market.”

Seong is fluent in Korean and has lived in South Korea, France, and the United States, bringing an international perspective to her practice. She is also active in pro bono work, advising nonprofit organizations and representing underserved women in immigration and family law matters

Seong earned her J.D., cum laude, from Fordham University School of Law, her LL.M. from Université Panthéon-Assas, and her B.S. from the New York University Stern School of Business.
