(May 3, 2021) – Lewis Roca announced Doug Schorr has joined the firm as an associate in the firm’s Business Transactions Practice Group.
Schorr focuses his practice on commercial real estate, where he regularly represents developers, landlords, real estate investment firms, corporations, and institutional investors in connection with the acquisition, disposition, entitlement, planning, development, financing, leasing, and operation of multifamily residential complexes, office buildings, student housing projects, senior housing projects, retail centers, industrial facilities, hotels/resorts, and mixed-use projects. Schorr has considerable experience representing clients in commercial real estate transactions across the United States.
Schorr also handles matters related to tax-exempt financings for state and local governments and conduit borrowers. He has acted as bond counsel, disclosure counsel, and underwriter’s counsel on transactions for cities, municipal utilities, school districts, charter schools, and 501(c)(3) organizations.
Schorr received his J.D., cum laude, from Arizona State University’s Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law and his B.S., cum laude, from the University of Arizona, Eller College of Management.
