Having maintained Mansfield Certification for multiple years, Lewis Roca demonstrates its dedication to considering a diverse group of colleagues for leadership roles.
Mansfield’s certification process grows increasingly rigorous each year, prompting participating firms, including Lewis Roca, to reaffirm their commitments to transparency, accountability, and knowledge sharing. This includes active participation in discussions and workshops, ensuring transparent advancement processes, broadening the talent pool to include underrepresented lawyers, engaging in regular check-ins, and submitting comprehensive certification data annually. This year, Lewis Roca opted for “Mansfield Certification Plus,” a designation for firms that voluntarily report the outcomes of their inclusive practices.

Mansfield aims to increase and sustain diversity in leadership within law firms by broadening the pool of women lawyers, LGBTQ+ lawyers, lawyers with disabilities, and underrepresented racial and/or ethnic lawyers considered for senior lateral attorney job openings, firm governance opportunities, equity partner promotions, and firm leadership positions. Firms are also required to create and publish job descriptions and policies for leadership roles, furthering their commitment to an equitable workplace.
