ATLANTA—Womble Carlyle attorney James Connelly has been selected as a member of Leadership Atlanta’s Class of 2018.

For more than 48 years, Leadership Atlanta is one of the oldest sustained community leadership programs in the nation. The Class of 2018 will participate in a comprehensive nine-month leadership training program. Through retreats, full-day seminars, service projects, discussion groups and community tours, members explore critical community issues, examine themselves as leaders and build relationships of trust and mutual understanding.

James Connelly is a Member in the Business Litigation Practice Group in Womble Carlyle’s Atlanta office. His practice is devoted to the defense of domestic and foreign corporations and their directors and officers in securities class actions and other shareholder-related litigation, as well as in other complex business disputes. Connelly’s practice includes the representation of individuals and entities in enforcement proceedings conducted by the US Securities and Exchange Commission and by other federal and state regulators. He also has experience in defending financial institutions and accounting firms in securities litigation matters and has participated in and directed numerous internal corporate investigations.
