ATLANTA—The Best Lawyers in America has named Womble Bond Dickinson attorney Ron Davis its Lawyer of the Year for Securities Litigation in the Greensboro/Winston-Salem market for its 2019 edition.
This is the second year that Davis has been named a Lawyer of the Year, having previously been named the Greensboro/Winston-Salem market’s top attorney for Securities Litigation for 2016. Only a single lawyer in each practice area and designated metropolitan area is honored as the Lawyer of the Year. Winners are selected based on peer-review assessments of abilities, professionalism and integrity.

Davis has been listed in Best Lawyers for each of the past 13 years.
Ron Davis has 30 years of experience as a business trial lawyer, concentrating his practice in North Carolina state and federal courts. He has represented billion-dollar public companies in the construction aggregate, financial services, broker/dealer, restaurant/hospitality, microprocessor and natural gas transmission sectors. He regularly prosecutes and defends lawsuits for middle market business clients, in a wide range of business sectors. In addition, Mr. Davis has defended other attorneys who have been sued and represented attorneys involved in law firm dissolutions.
