Every child deserves a safe, stable home. Since 2002, Aerie Africa has provided such a nurturing environment to orphaned children and young adults in Ethiopia.

Attorneys and staff members in Womble Bond Dickinson’s Boston office have been proud supporters of Aerie Africa for years, partnering with long-time client Zynerba to support this cause. In 2018, the Boston office is giving Aerie Africa a $2,500 donation to help fund their ongoing efforts. Every dollar donated to the program goes directly to support the children, as the program’s administrators are volunteers.

Aerie Africa consists of three components: 1. A residential home for more than 50 children ages 3-18. 2. A transition program for young adults ages 18-21 who have grown up in the orphanage. 3. Higher education support for children who have grown up in the orphanage and who qualify for degree and diploma programs in Ethiopia.

Womble Bond Dickinson Partners Danielle Herritt and Sarah Keefe are leading the firm’s effort to support Aerie Africa.
