RALEIGH, NC—Veteran trademark attorney Evan Fultz has joined Womble Bond Dickinson and will practice in the firm’s Raleigh office.

Ranked by Chambers USA as a top IP practitioner, Fultz guides clients in trademark registration, enforcement, protection and transactions. He has more than 20 years of experience counseling clients in the life sciences/pharmaceuticals, healthcare, financial services and construction sectors.

He also regularly represents clients in trademark disputes, including trademark opposition and cancellation proceedings before the US Trademark Trial and Appeal Board, as well as trademark infringement litigation in state and federal courts. Fultz has extensive experience in domain name disputes.

Fultz comes to Womble Bond Dickinson from Parker Poe, where he led that firm’s Intellectual Property Practice Group.

“Evan is one of the most well-known and respected trademark attorneys in North Carolina, and bringing him to Womble Bond Dickinson is a coup for our firm,” said Christopher Bolen, the former Co-Chair of the firm’s IP Practice Group and a current member of Womble Bond Dickinson’s Global Board.

“We are always on the lookout for top talent, and Evan certainly fits that bill,” said Beth Tyner Jones, Managing Partner of Womble Bond Dickinson’s Raleigh and Research Triangle Park offices. “IP and trademark law have long been core practices for us, and Evan’s addition will help us build on that already strong team.”
