Houston Partner Francisco Balduzzi has been invited to participate in the 2026 Tulane Future of Energy Forum, taking place September 28-30, 2026, on Tulane University’s uptown campus in New Orleans. 

Balduzzi is slated to serve on a panel titled “Investment Protection in an Era of Political Risk” on September 29. The session will examine how investors navigate regulatory and geopolitical uncertainty and will explore strategies for mitigating political and investment risk in an evolving global environment. Blanca del Carmen Martinez Mendoza, partner at Medoza Vera Abogados, S.C will join Francisco as speaker. The panel will be moderated by Imad Kahn, partner at Winston Taylor, LLP. 

The Tulane Future of Energy Forum brings together leaders from across the energy sector, business community, government, and academia to discuss issues shaping the future of energy. 

Francisco is a member of the Womble Bond Dickinson’s Global Energy Leadership Team, and co-chair of the Mining Practice Group. He currently serves as an Officer of the International Bar Association’s Mining Law Committee and is Senior Advisor to the Global Research Council of the Energy Law & Policy Center at Tulane Law School.
