Womble Bond Dickinson Partner Rich Raleigh has been appointed by the Chief Justice of the Alabama Supreme Court to serve as a representative of the Alabama State Bar on Alabama’s Judicial Conference.
The purpose of the Judicial Conference includes making a “continuous study of the administration of justice in this State and of the organization, procedure, practice, rules and methods of administration and operation of each and all of the courts of the State,” “receiving and considering criticisms and suggestions pertaining to the administration of justice in the State,” and making recommendations to the Alabama legislature on needs of the courts and judicial system.
The first meeting of the Judicial Conference was in mid-October to discuss innovations and activities in and around the Alabama Unified Judicial System.
Rich Raleigh focuses his practice on litigation with an emphasis on government contracts, employment law, complex business litigation (including trade secret and non-compete litigation), and civil litigation. He is a Partner in Womble Bond Dickinson’s Huntsville office.
