Womble Bond Dickinson Partner Laura Kees moderated a panel discussion titled “Leading Through ‘Permacrisis’…It’s In Your Head” for the International Trademark Association (INTA). The virtual event took place on April 19.
During the panel, leaders discussed key strategies to optimize time, energy, impact and legacy during uncertain times. Themes discussed included the four faces of legal leadership, how process and toolkit stay the same during “permacrisis” (as well as how they change); and moving up the loyalty ladder with clients. Participants also demonstrated ideas on promoting employee engagement as well as self-engagement during times of crisis.
Kees is ranked in the World Trademark Review 1000 - The World's Leading Trademark Professionals and is also recognized in The Best Lawyers in America in Copyright Law. She serves as the firm’s Trademarks, Copyrights and Transactions Practice Group Leader. Her practice concentrates on managing trademark and copyright portfolios, working with a diverse portfolio of clients while utilizing a strong network of international network of IP attorneys to ensure protection of her clients’ trademark and copyright assets. Her experience also includes creating brand usage programs and reviewing sweepstakes and other promotions, including proper use of trademarks and conditions on sweepstakes prizes.
