William is a patent agent with more than 15 years of experience in preparing and prosecuting patent applications before the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) and in working with foreign associates to file and prosecute patent applications internationally. He works well both with inventors who have experience with the patent process and those who do not, providing an appropriate amount of guidance through the preparation and prosecution of their patent applications. He is able to work with inventors to gain a deep understanding of their inventions and prepare thorough patent applications.

In addition, he prepares and prosecutes patent applications in the field of packaging, including packaging materials (e.g., materials that are more environmentally friendly and microwave energy interactive materials), packaging design (e.g., cartons, sleeves, pouches and other constructs), and machines and methods for forming packages and packaging materials.
