Tyler Connor is a member of the firm’s Trademarks, Copyrights, & Transactions group. He focuses his practice on IP transactions and data privacy and cybersecurity matters. Tyler assists clients with cybersecurity incident response, state-specific and federal breach notification requirements, analyzing internal privacy and security policies and counseling clients on the legal implications during and after a privacy incident. He also drafts and reviews service agreements, privacy policies, employee privacy notices, terms of use, non-disclosure agreements, business associate agreements, and other IP and data-related contracts. Tyler advises on contracting terms and privacy compliance under U.S. state and federal privacy laws like HIPAA, the CCPA, CPRA, and other state regimes, as well as the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and UK GDPR.
Tyler is also certified by the International Association of Privacy Professionals as Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) for the US.
