Suzanne provides a multidimensional understanding of the Government procurement process and valuable insight into effective contract negotiation, administration, and litigation strategy. Suzanne formerly served as Assistant Counsel for the Defense Logistics Agency Energy (“DLA Energy”), advising on all aspects of energy-related defense acquisitions under the multifaceted framework of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (“FAR”) and Defense Acquisition Regulation Supplement ("DFARS"). Suzanne has litigation experience handling matters at the Government Accountability Office (“GAO”), Armed Services Board of Contract Appeals (“ASBCA”), and U.S. Court of Federal Claims (“COFC”). At DLA Energy, Suzanne also advised on suspension and debarment proceedings and served as an ethics counselor, providing advice on financial conflicts of interest, potential Procurement Integrity Act violations, and post-Government employment restrictions.
Prior to her Government service, Suzanne represented entities in the oil and gas, construction, and marine industries in complex commercial disputes in state and federal litigation, and domestic and international arbitrations.
