Ryan represents clients in complex commercial litigation, including resolving disputes in state and federal courts. His practice includes unfair trade practices and business torts, employee noncompetes, trade secrets, ERISA disability, class actions, breach of contract, and insurance coverage and bad faith disputes. Ryan has also advised companies on regulatory compliance in areas ranging from marketing to interstate shipping.

Ryan is a member of the firm’s Business Litigation Group and Data Security Team. He is also a member of the firm’s Pro Bono Committee and coordinates the Winston-Salem office’s work with the Innocence and Justice Clinic at Wake Forest University.
