Patrick Samsel advises government contractors and other companies operating in highly regulated industries on legal, compliance, and business challenges. His practice focuses on government contracts, internal investigations, regulatory compliance, corporate transactions, and strategic counseling. Drawing on experience as both outside counsel and General Counsel of a federal contractor, Patrick helps clients navigate complex issues involving procurement law, organizational conflicts of interest, ethics and compliance programs, government investigations, cybersecurity incidents, labor and employment matters, and mergers and acquisitions. He regularly advises executives on managing legal risk while supporting business objectives and growth.

Prior to joining the firm, Patrick served as General Counsel of Fors Marsh, where he led the company's legal, contracts, compliance, and industrial security functions. As a member of the executive leadership team, he advised on matters involving federal procurement, corporate governance, cybersecurity and data privacy, internal investigations, government relations, and enterprise risk management. Having spent more than a decade in-house, Patrick brings a practical, business-oriented perspective to helping clients solve problems, respond to crises, and successfully navigate the unique challenges of doing business with the government.
