Nicolas Martino is an Associate in Womble Bond Dickinson's Litigation Practice Group. He represents businesses and individuals in complex commercial litigation, product liability defense, probate and trust disputes, construction litigation, and other high-stakes civil matters.
Nicolas has experience handling all phases of litigation in state and federal courts, from initial case assessment through discovery, dispositive motion practice, trial preparation, and appeal. His practice involves a broad range of business disputes, including breach of contract claims, business torts, fiduciary litigation, real estate disputes, and shareholder and ownership conflicts.
In product liability matters, Nicolas defends manufacturers, distributors, and other businesses in cases involving industrial equipment, commercial vehicles, transportation-related incidents, and other technically complex claims. He regularly collaborates with engineers, accident reconstruction experts, and industry specialists to investigate claims and develop litigation strategies.
Nicolas also maintains a probate and trust litigation practice, representing beneficiaries, trustees, personal representatives, and other interested parties in fiduciary disputes. These matters include contested trusts and estates, accountings, breaches of fiduciary duty, trust administration issues, financial exploitation claims, disputed transfers, and related probate proceedings.
In construction and infrastructure litigation, Nicolas has worked on complex disputes involving large-scale public and private construction projects, contract claims, performance issues, payment disputes, and surety matters.
Clients value Nicolas's practical approach to litigation, attention to detail, and ability to navigate sophisticated factual, technical, and legal issues efficiently. He works closely with clients to develop strategies that align legal objectives with their broader business and personal goals.
