Michael Barber focuses his practice on representing and advising debtors and creditors involved in bankruptcy litigation, corporate restructuring, and insolvency matters. Michael has experience representing corporate creditors in both chapter 13 and chapter 11 cases and has worked extensively on complex litigation involving creditors’ committees, negotiated settlements, and worked directly with clients to identify and implement effective strategies for desired outcomes.
Prior to joining the firm, Michael served as a law clerk for the Honorable Ashely M. Chan, in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. He has also served as a legal extern for the Honorable Carlota Böhm in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania and worked for nearly two full years as a student law clerk for Ronda J. Winnecour, the Chapter 13 Standing Trustee for the Western District of Pennsylvania.
