Representative Experience
Any result the lawyer or law firm may have achieved on behalf of clients in other matters does not necessarily indicate similar results can be obtained for other clients.
- Nevada Supreme Court Victory for Developer: Represented a real estate developer who had wrongfully lost at the district court level in a significant dispute over a development agreement. On appeal, we obtained a full reversal at the Nevada Supreme Court, vindicating our client’s position and allowing them to proceed with their development. The decision not only corrected the lower court’s errors but also reaffirmed key legal principles, including regarding the interpretation and implementation of development agreements.
- Regulatory Taking Defense for Mine Operator: Represented a mining company after the local government attempted to stop operations through an ordinance targeting the mine. By demonstrating that the measure would amount to a regulatory taking—exposing the government to millions in liability—we persuaded officials to reverse course. The mine avoided disruption and preserved the substantial economic value of the project.
- Lake Tahoe Ownership Trial Win: Successfully represented a property owner in a heavily disputed Lake Tahoe ownership case, where title was fiercely contested. After a full trial, the court issued a decision in our client’s favor, affirming their ownership and securing long term protection of their property rights in one of the region’s most coveted areas.
- Eminent Domain Settlement for Property Owners: Maximized just compensation for private property owners facing eminent domain proceedings. Through strategic valuation analysis and targeted negotiation, we achieved favorable settlements that protected our clients’ property rights and delivered strong financial outcomes without the need for litigation.
- Multiple Student-Athlete Triumphs: Successfully represented multiple student athletes facing improper eligibility determinations by the Nevada Interscholastic Activities Association. After aggressively challenging improper rulings, we secured rulings that restored each athlete’s eligibility, allowing them to continue competing in their respective sports. The outcomes protected the students’ athletic opportunities and reinforced the importance of fair, correctly applied eligibility standards.
