Kory J. Koerperich

Kory Koerperich is a strategic thinker who handles trials and appeals in Arizona and Nevada. Kory is an exceptional researcher and writer with a knack for getting to the heart of an issue. 

As an appellate lawyer, Kory handles appeals and writ petitions, but also joins cases before trial to identify, raise, and respond to critical legal arguments. Kory’s appellate insight and trial background as a former prosecutor make him a valuable addition to any trial team.  He frequently joins trial teams to help formulate and respond to dispositive motions, motions in limine, trial briefs, jury instructions and verdict forms, post-trial motions, and to give strategic input on other case-altering issues.  

Kory began his career as an appellate law clerk under the mentorship of the Honorable Justice Kristina Pickering of the Nevada Supreme Court and then prosecuted criminal cases in northern Arizona before joining the firm. 

Kory brings a steadying disposition to chaotic and high-stakes litigation. When he is not working on a case, he loves traveling with his wife and kids, as well as enjoying good food and conversation with family and friends. He also enjoys watching sports, particularly basketball, and playing golf.
