Jon’s practice includes preparing and prosecuting patent applications involving a wide range of technologies, particularly in the computer hardware, software, and medical device industries.  He has significant experience negotiating with United States Patent and Trademark Office examiners in order to help make each client’s vision a patented reality.

Jon brings an engineering background to his legal practice.  His prior technical knowledge and experience are assets to clients as he navigates their patent applications and prosecution matters.

Jon believes that giving back is an important aspect of being a lawyer.  He is involved in pro bono work ranging from conservatorships and guardianships to immigration issues and record expungement matters.  Jon also leads a local Cycle for Survival campaign to raise money for cancer research.
