Erin Epley focuses her practice on complex healthcare, business, and catastrophic tort litigation in both state and federal courts. She has extensive experience in various aspects of litigation, including, but not limited to, drafting and arguing motions, drafting appellate and amicus briefs, preparing fact and expert witnesses for trial, and conducting and defending depositions. Erin is committed to achieving favorable outcomes for clients in challenging matters.

Throughout her career, Erin defended tobacco industry clients in smoking and health litigation, defended large insurance companies against claims of breach of contract and bad faith, and defended large healthcare organizations and healthcare providers against claims of medical malpractice, negligence, medical battery, and punitive damages.

She also defended local municipalities, law enforcement entities, and police, detention, and public safety officers in cases involving claims of excessive force, wrongful death, discrimination, violations of the First and Fourteenth Amendments, and enforcement of North Carolina sweepstake law.
