Emily Harrison is a transactional attorney focusing her practice on commercial transactions, mergers and acquisitions and general corporate matters for a wide range of companies across a variety of industries. In her role as an attorney, she provides comprehensive legal services to help clients navigate legal issues during each stage of the corporate life cycle, including entity formation, contract negotiations, corporate governance matters, and securities issuances. 

Emily’s experience with commercial contracts runs deep, as she has drafted and negotiated countless agreements for both providers and customers covering a variety of needs. She has guided clients through a range of commercial agreements, such as contracts for professional services, intellectual property licenses, software as a service (SaaS), independent contracting, consulting, and warehousing. 

She has also led clients through state and local permitting following large acquisitions, including securing permits for ABC and sale of alcohol, sale of tobacco, lottery, environmental health and food service.

As a member of the firm’s Corporate and Securities practice group, Emily also assists with the representation of publicly traded companies in critical matters. She assists public-company clients with SEC reporting, securities compliance, and corporate governance issues.
