T. Emiliano Aguirre is an associate in the firm’s Business Transactions Practice Group. His practice focuses on gaming, finance, bankruptcy law, and various transactional matters, including advising tribal and commercial entities on tribal economic development, leasing, contracts, and taxation.
Prior to joining the firm, Emiliano clerked for the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Indiana. He also worked as a Capital Markets associate and Native American Law associate at other firms. Prior to law school, Emiliano worked as a project controller for a national science and engineering laboratory.
Emiliano is an enrolled member of the Navajo Nation. He was born and raised on the Navajo reservation and, as an inevitable result, loves piñons, coffee, and Hatch chile breakfast burritos. During his free time, Emiliano enjoys traveling to learn, eat, and explore the outdoors.
