Elisabeth is an experienced private client lawyer, specialising in advising landed estates, farmers, partnerships and trusts.

Following a career in industry in the UK and overseas, including seven years at GlaxoSmithKline, a desire to return to her roots in the North prompted a career change. She joined the firm as a trainee in 2013 and qualified into the private client team in 2015.

Initially, she worked across a broad range of clients, but over the past six years she has become increasingly focused on working for landed estates and farmers. She qualified as a Trusts and Estates Practitioner (TEP) in 2021, obtaining distinctions in all papers.

Elisabeth enjoys working alongside a family's accountants and land agents to develop and execute plans to ensure the estate or farm passes to future generations safely and tax efficiently.
