Amy is part of our WBD Advance team, leading a multi-disciplined team providing managed services, volumes projects and bespoke solutions.
Amy also leads WBD's eDiscovery team to provide an end to end offering for strategic, legal and technical eDiscovery support. Amy advises clients on all aspects of the eDiscovery process including data preservation, data mapping, collection, analytics, and the review/presentation of data.
Having trained with the firm and qualified into the Commercial Disputes team, Amy has particular expertise in the handling of contentious data subject access requests (via WBD Clarity).
Experience
Examples of experience include advising and representing:
- Advising clients on how to navigate and comply with their disclosure obligations throughout the course of litigation.
- Working with a national charity to streamline the review and negotiation of commercial contracts.
- Advising numerous clients on contentious and complex data subject access requests. This includes advising multinational consumer product, retail and energy companies; charities, schools and universities; and insurance companies. Our involvement in these DSARs is significant, providing an end-to-end solution and most notably achieving a reduction in the volume of data requiring manual review by up to 90%. This work is managed through WBD Clarity which is an in-house developed, bespoke workflow for managing data subject access requests.
- Providing embedded resource to a multinational pharmaceutical company's Global Information and Governance team to provide EMEA based support to their global operations.
- Advising clients on their approach to data management to ensure a defensible process during the course of investigatory proceedings.
