Adam is a Chartered Financial Planner and Wealth Advisor within Womble Bond Dickinson Wealth Limited, having previously worked as a maths teacher at a local secondary school. Adam enjoys working alongside a variety of individual and Trust clients, developing trusted relationships and providing advice on a wide range of issues such as investments, pensions and Inheritance Tax.

Adam achieved his Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning in 2018 (being awarded the 'Cass Prize' by the Chartered Insurance Institute of Newcastle upon Tyne for the highest marks in the region) and his Advanced Diploma in April 2023. Adam is a member of The Personal Finance Society and the Chartered Insurance Institute. His qualifications to date cover a wide range of financial planning needs such as portfolio management, retirement planning, Inheritance Tax planning and taxation of both individuals and trusts.

Experience

Examples of experience include:

  • Portfolio management – reviewing the suitability of clients' (both individuals and trusts) existing financial arrangements. Helping to organise their wealth so that it is appropriate for their objectives and attitude to risk. Managing clients' portfolios on an ongoing basis to ensure they remain fit for purpose and well positioned in terms of ever changing taxation and legislation
  • Retirement planning – approaching retirement: advising on the accumulation of pension benefits and helping to reposition clients' overall wealth to ensure their income requirements and other objectives can be met in a tax efficient manner. During retirement: supporting clients to ensure their needs continue to be met and that their portfolios remain suitable. Helping clients to understand pension legislation which is both highly complex and tightly regulated
  • Inheritance Tax planning – helping clients to understand the implications of Inheritance Tax. Advising on a range of effective strategies to reduce potential liabilities.
