CHARLESTON, SC—The SCBIO 2018 Annual Conference was a major success, with pharmaceutical and biotech industry leaders and government officials and educators gathering in Charleston for the three-day life sciences conference.
Registrants include top officials across a broad spectrum of life sciences industries including:
- Medical devices and medtech;
- Biomanufacturing;
- Drug discovery/R&D;
- Pharmaceutical;
- Diagnostics and testing;
- Digital health and Health IT;
- Bioscience-related distribution; and
- BioAg.
Womble Bond Dickinson played a significant role in SCBIO 2018. Womble Bond Dickinson attorney Stephanie Yarbrough served as Chair of this year’s conference and also moderated a panel discussion on “Advancing Life Sciences Economic Development”.
Other Womble Bond Dickinson attendees included attorneys Chuck Baker, Logan Buck, David Crawford, Brandy Harris, Kevin Trempe, Allen Gibson and Henry Smythe.
Marketing & Client Resources Manager Lisa Lindquist worked closely with Yarbrough on planning and coordinating the conference, which took place Oct. 23-25.
