No doubt, immigration, compliance, and talent mobility are and will remain key concerns for employers. With that in mind, Womble Bond Dickinson is expanding its Immigration Team, adding experienced attorney Andrew Kuntz, to help companies navigate the immigration and employment landscapes.
He guides companies in complex immigration issues related to recruitment, hiring, I-9 employment verification, remote workplace arrangements, and sponsorship of employees’ Nonimmigrant Visa (NIV), Immigrant Visa (IV), and PERM applications, working with in-house immigration teams to develop strategic plans to ensure timely sponsorship of employees.
Kuntz comes to Womble from the New Jersey Division of Rate Counsel, where he served as Assistant Deputy Ratepayer Advocate. The Division is an independent state agency in New Jersey. Advocacy skills are crucial in assisting companies successfully respond to Requests for Evidence (RFE) or other pushback from relevant government agencies.
He joins Lynn O’Brien, leader of the firm’s Immigration Practice at Womble. Previously they were a powerhouse immigration duo at another firm in Washington, D.C. The Womble team is excited to have Kuntz further expand the creativity, experience, and advocacy of the growing team.
“Andrew brings a wealth of immigration and litigation experience along with outstanding client service, and we couldn’t be any happier with the addition,” O’Brien said.
