Christin Montfort has more than two decades of experiences in all aspects of patent prosecution, including patentability, validity, re-examination, and infringement analysis, and litigation matters. She has experience drafting patent applications for domestic and foreign clients in the fields of fields of turbine engines, artificial intelligence (AI), Optical Character Recognition (OCR), online-based document management systems and methods, multiple function printing systems, cloud-based data processing methods, telecommunications, computer related apps, voice/image recognition technologies, and computer software and hardware. Christin regularly responds to Office Actions, providing comments to clients, and conducting interviews with the Examiners, communicates with inventors directly to discuss invention disclosures and to help build the clients’ patent portfolios, as well as performs world-wide patent searches and advised inventors regarding designing around existed patents.
Prior to joining the firm, Christin served as a patent agent in firms located in the US and Taiwan.
