Theresa has unmatched experience in the field of legal knowledge management. Theresa Coalson has spent her legal career supporting mass tort and class action litigation for Fortune 500 companies. As Director of Operations to the Case Management Facility (CMF), Theresa helps design, create and implement custom legal knowledge management systems.

With more than three decades of experience, she helped found the CMF and has been an integral part of its evolution since. With a particular focus on legal project management, she implements workflows that save clients time and money. She is battle tested and has experienced “litigation by crisis” first hand; she knows when and how to invest resources in the detailed planning necessary to prevent pitfalls in increasingly complex litigation. Her recent efforts focus on implementing new technology solutions using automation and predictive analytics.

Theresa actively supports her local community and daughter’s school. She is a member of the Surry Community College Paralegal Advisory Committee.

  • Supported a global oil and energy company by implementing processes to effectively assist their law firms in the defense of thousands of individual and multi-plaintiff lawsuits and class actions, including shareholder actions and government investigations arising out of the Gulf Oil Spill.
