Clients call on Taylor to help on issues at the intersection of business and technology. She helps clients with contracts involving intellectual property and data rights, organizational initiatives involving data privacy regulatory and compliance tasks, and navigating the mitigation and response processes following detection of data security incidents. With her engineering background, Taylor is able to talk through technical details with engineers and information technologists, keeping the big picture strategies and goals in mind.

Taylor works on transactional matters, preparing and negotiating commercial contracts and working with business stakeholders in research and development and information security to address their business concerns in the final agreements.  She also advises clients on breach notification response procedures under US federal and state law, and US-based clients on their collection and use of personal information, including implications under international laws, such as the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation.

She is also recognized by the IAPP as a certified information privacy professional for the U.S.(CIPP/US).
