Richard also worked with Teledyne CME as its Director of Electrical Engineering and later as Director of Engineering Operations.
After 29 years in engineering, Richard decided to pursue a career in the legal profession. After law school, he began his legal career in Silicon Valley as a patent attorney with Blakely Sokoloff Taylor & Zaffman, a well-known patent prosecution boutique. There, he honed his patent drafting and prosecution skills for iconic Silicon Valley companies like Intel, Microsoft and National Semiconductor.
Richard has since gained years of experience as outside counsel advising clients in both patent prosecution and patent litigation. His deep and broad engineering background has proved invaluable in the analysis and deconstruction of patents asserted against his firm’s clients.
