Mike Kruljac, a member of Womble Bond Dickinson’s GCSolutions team with almost 30 years of in-house and private practice, advises clients spanning domestic and international geographies in various industries on a range of intellectual property matters.  His expertise includes offering counsel to legal and business stakeholders on IP portfolios, transactions, third-party collaborations, and litigation.  Mike works closely with senior commercial, employment, antitrust, compliance, environmental, transactional, and corporate counsel, ensuring a harmonious and interdisciplinary approach to legal challenges.  Through a career successfully representing organizations of varying sizes, geographic reach, business models, and technical fields, Mike applies a risk philosophy tuned to responsibly balance commercial priorities with advantageous legal solutions.

Mike also applies his extensive experience from leading in-house IP functions to help companies, wherever their commercial lifecycles place them, to build or transform their own IP capabilities to profitably align them with business goals and market conditions.  His proficiency shines in assembling and steering multinational IP teams tailored for complex, commercially varied enterprises, showcasing his adeptness in managing intricate legal landscapes and fostering organizational success.

Prior to practicing law, Mike enjoyed a nine-year aerospace career, culminating in engineering electro-mechanical subsystems for communications satellites for Hughes Aircraft.
