Madison Waller is a member of the firm’s business litigation practice group, focusing her practice on complex commercial litigation. Madison uses her federal clerkship experience to counsel clients and deliver strategic resolutions to a wide range of business disputes. Madison regularly represents clients in high-stakes litigation matters involving contracts, trademark matters, business and regulatory disputes, employment disputes, environmental issues, and product liability disputes. Madison advocates for her clients in North Carolina state trial and appellate courts and various federal district courts. Madison’s clients include Fortune 500 companies operating in a variety of industries, including manufacturing, retail, technology, medical and chemical industries.

Prior to joining the firm, Madison served as a law clerk to the Honorable Louise W. Flanagan, in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina, where she gained valuable insight in judicial process, litigation practice and civil procedure.
 

Experience

  • Counsel for multinational retailer in myriad contract and commercial disputes arising from COVID-19. 
  • Represents chemical manufacturing company in multi-district litigation in over 900 cases related to PFAS exposure in the Aqueous Film-Forming Foams (AFFF) MDL pending in the United States District Court, District of South Carolina.
