Larry has over 33 years of experience advising on a broad array of legal and business disciplines including construction and contract development, negotiation and compliance, litigation management, dispute resolution, and privately-held corporate governance. He previously served as General Counsel for an in-house legal department, managed his own civil law practice, and worked as an attorney in the construction practice of a large law firm in Greensboro, North Carolina.
Construction is a complicated endeavor that is all about managing risk through the intersection of contracts, finance, dispute resolution, real estate, labor and employment, human resources, insurance and bonding, regulatory and safety, procurement, etc. Larry’s wealth of construction law experience gives him the insight needed to help manage and mitigate risks not only in construccion but in a wide array of applications.
Larry has tried cases, managed outside counsel, investigated claims and incidents, worked through issues with regulators, worked with brokers and underwriters to bind insurance coverages, and negotiated a wide variety of contracts. His experience gives him the ability provide stakeholders with strategic legal advice leading to better outcomes.
