Josh is a solicitor in the Commercial Disputes and Regulatory Team.
Josh has advised on a range of Commercial Disputes within the industry across multiple insurance, banking, and financial services clients. Josh's work to date has included but is not limited to complex restrictive covenant disputes in the High Court, breaches of contract, debt enforcement, and coverage and insurance disputes.
In his Regulatory work, Josh has provided advice to a range of public and private sector clients and provides support with regulatory investigations, internal investigations and public inquiries.
Josh is currently assisting an international insurance client on legal secondment, prior to returning to the Commercial Disputes and Regulatory Team in 2022. He is responsible for ensuring legal compliance across a range of insurance products, assisting senior legal counsel, and project management as part of a multi-national team.
Josh's wide-ranging legal experience enables him to take a holistic view on the commercial and regulatory matters he is involved with.
Examples of experience include:
- Responsibility for and advising on large scale insurance disputes involving local, national, and international clients
- Part of a team advising a core participant in The Scottish Hospitals Inquiry
- Part of a team assisting with high value business protection litigation in the High Court, in the area of restrictive covenants, confidentiality and team moves
- Advising on several matters connected to The Grenfell Tower Inquiry.
