John is a litigator who represents a wide variety of clients in state and federal courts in Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia.  He regularly handles business litigation, including breach of contract claims, non-compete disputes, and employment litigation.  John also has experience in construction litigation and political law and has successfully served as lead counsel for appeals in the Appellate Court of Maryland, the Fourth Circuit, and the Virginia Court of Appeals.

After completing law school, John worked as a law clerk for the Honorable Kathryn G. Graeff in the Appellate Court of Maryland. In this role, he was responsible for drafting opinions on a wide range of civil and criminal matters.
