Jocelyn Shaw, a member of Womble Bond Dickinson’s GCSolutions team, brings a wealth of expertise in the legal aspects of strategic transactions, commercial agreements, and risk management. With a background in the healthcare, biotech, and life sciences industries, Jocelyn has a proven track record of successfully assisting companies in launching, commercializing, and marketing new technologies. Throughout her career, she has provided broad legal support and counseling to companies, analyzing and minimizing risk while ensuring compliance with regulations. Jocelyn has worked directly with marketing teams to review and advise on future campaigns and materials, showcasing her ability to provide strategic guidance across various departments.
Prior to rejoining Womble Bond Dickinson, Jocelyn held positions at BASF Corporation and Bayer US LLC, where she provided legal support to global biotechnology and chemistry businesses, as well as led seminars on crisis management, communication, and compliance. In recognition of her contributions to the in-house legal profession, Jocelyn was recognized as one of the “Top-10 30-Somethings” by the Association of Corporate Counsel. Jocelyn began her legal career as a member of Womble Bond Dickinson’s IP Transactions Team.
