*Mr. Schafbuch is not licensed to practice law in the District of Columbia. He is supervised by attorneys licensed to practice law in the District of Columbia.

Chris defends corporate clients faced with complex business disputes involving contract disputes, corporate fraud, and government investigations.  Four years in the courtroom has given Chris an insider’s view of trial practice, including the experience to prepare strategic discovery plans, navigate discovery disputes, argue pretrial motions, anticipate and avoid complex evidentiary issues at trial, and secure post-trial relief from the court, if needed.  An efficient and effective advocate, Chris applies his experience in state and federal courts to help clients navigate all stages of litigation with confidence.

Prior to joining Womble, Chris served as a law clerk for the Honorable Julie H. Becker at the Superior Court of the District of Columbia.  Before that, Chris clerked for federal trial judges in Washington and New Jersey.
