Chris McLain is a staff attorney for the firm’s Case Management Facility (CMF), a high tech legal knowledge management system, representing defendants in high-stakes mass tort and multi-jurisdictional products liability litigation. Chris focuses his practice on trials, accompanying trial teams to court daily to help prepare, present and track exhibits in complex mass tort litigation.

Chris has also assisted case teams in working up their cases, researching trends and preparing work product. He has extensive experience in state and federal courtrooms throughout Florida. At trial, in addition to his trial team colleagues from Womble Bond Dickinson, he works side-byside with in-house defense teams and outside counsel from a variety of other AM Law 200 firms.

Chris has been active in assisting Elon Law’s Moot Court competitions in recent years and volunteering with 4All Statewide Service Day.

  • Represented a Fortune 500 manufacturing company in the Engle litigation pending in the State of Florida, focused on preparation of trial exhibit lists and tracking trial exhibit use and admission in the courtroom.
  • Provided pre-trial and trial support to in-house defense teams and outside counsel, both on-site at trial as well as assisting trial teams remotely.
