PHOENIX (April 17, 2023) – With a continued focus on the firm's development, Lewis Roca announced today the arrival of Lauren Symington as its first Chief Talent Officer.
As CTO, Symington is responsible for leading the firm's recruiting and professional development strategies, overseeing the recruitment, retention, professional development, and advancement of lawyers. She joins the firm's management team, providing leadership and direction in several key areas.
Lewis Roca’s Managing Partner, Kenneth Van Winkle, said, “Given Lauren’s extensive experience in legal talent, she is the ideal candidate to serve in this newly created role. With more than 15 years of experience in legal talent, Symington brings a deep understanding of the industry and keen insight into how to develop and support legal professionals.

Prior to Lewis Roca, Symington was the Director of Human Resources and Talent Management at Procopio, Cory, Hargreaves & Savitch LLP. Previously, she has held various positions in legal talent, including leadership and professional development roles. Symington earned her J.D. from California Western School of Law and her B.A. in Liberal Studies from San Diego State University.
