LOS ANGELES (June 23, 2022) – Lewis Roca announced John Carson has been named the recipient of The Los Angeles County Bar Association’s 2022 Shattuck-Price Outstanding Lawyer Award. Honorees will be recognized at the Association’s annual Board Installation and Awards Ceremony June 23, 2022.  

Carson, Of Counsel in Lewis Roca’s Intellectual Property Practice Group, has more than 50 years of intellectual property law experience. He is considered a national authority on intellectual property issues, including litigation, strategic planning, licensing, eCommerce, trademarks, copyrights, patents, and trade secrets. This award exemplifies Carson’s commitment to providing outstanding service to his clients, and to inspiring the next generation of lawyers through leadership and mentorship.

The Shattuck-Price Outstanding Lawyer Award, one of the Los Angeles County Bar Association’s most prestigious awards, was established in 1968 by the Los Angeles County Bar Association to honor two past presidents, Edward S. Shattuck, and Ira M. Price II. The award is presented to an individual who has made an extraordinary contribution to improving the administration of justice in Los Angeles County. The contributions may be the result of the person’s own efforts or the result of providing leadership or inspiration to others.
