HAGERSTOWN, MD.—Womble Carlyle attorney Heather Pruger was a speaker at Access to Capital, a workshop for start-ups and businesses in the Hagerstown area that offered local entrepreneurs and businesses a chance to connect with financial consultants, angel investors, state resources and more, and to learn how to navigate some of the legal and practical challenges associated with starting a new business or taking an existing business to the next level.

The workshop took place Oct. 25th and was hosted by the Hagerstown Community College Technical Innovation Center, which is Western Maryland’s largest and most comprehensive technology-based business incubator, and co-sponsored by the City of Hagerstown Community & Economic Development Department and SCORE Hagerstown.

Heather Pruger handles a broad range of corporate/business and commercial transactions and M&A, including technology and intellectual property transactions and licensing matters. Her clients range from emerging companies to middle market businesses and include technology and IT companies, government contractors, and professional services companies.
