Womble Carlyle’s Brad De Vore will take part in a panel discussion titled “Mapping and Leveraging Stakeholders in Litigation Matters” at the 2017 Association of Corporate Counsel Annual Meeting.

Every large litigation matter has multiple stakeholders. Some stakeholders are a party to the litigation, and others are on the outside—but all stakeholders have an interest in the litigation’s outcome. This session will look at processes and procedures for stakeholder mapping in large litigation matters. It will help attendees identify those who may be outside of the organization, but who have an interest in the action (whether they are aligned with or opposed to the company), and develop strategies for how to leverage or neutralize these external parties. A stakeholder map can help in-house counsel identify and analyze litigation resources, timing, and communications. This session is a must-attend for anyone managing large litigation.

In addition to De Vore, panelists will include:

  • Wendy Bozzolasco, Senior Litigation Counsel, Sunpower
  • Laura Heltebran, Senior VP, Hilton
  • Ilona Korzha, Counsel, Sprint.

The Mapping and Leveraging Stakeholders in Litigation Matters panel discussion is set for Monday, October 16th from 4:30—6:00 p.m.

The 2017 ACC Annual Meeting takes place Oct. 15-18 in Washington, D.C. The event is the world’s largest gathering of in-house counsel.
